Mission

The CASIE Center provides a coordinated multidisciplinary team approach to addressing child abuse through prevention, intervention, and advocacy, while offering a safe, supportive, child-focused environment for children, families, and the professionals who serve them.

Our Building

The Mary Jane and Edward Gray Center at 533 N. Niles Ave. in South Bend, Indiana is home to The CASIE Center and our co-located partners. This is a secure facility with free onsite parking.

Forensic Interviews

A safe, child-friendly way for a trained professional to talk with your child about their experiences.

Prevention Education

Evidence-based programming in local schools for grades Pre-K through 12.

Truancy Prevention

Supports for families with students in grades K-5 that are experiencing barriers to regular school attendance. 

How to Report Child Abuse

If you suspect a child is being abused or neglected, report it.

Call Indiana’s Child Abuse and Neglect Hotline at 1-800-800-5556 to make a report. Indiana law requires everyone to report suspected child abuse or neglect.

If a child is in immediate danger or needs emergency medical attention, call 911.
